This is Halloween time,and the activity choosen by us is pumpkin painting. This time we are using rock salts for colouring the pumpkin. Use your own imagination to make it more creative.
Items Required:
- Thick chart or cardboard
- Rock salt
- Black, Orange and Green colour paints
- Paint brush
- Glue
Steps:
Draw the pumpkin in the thick cardboard.
Apply glue all over the pumpkin.
Mix some rock salt with black, orange and green colour separately.
Spread those coloured rock salt on the glued pumpkin face accordingly. Or first spread the rock salt on the pumpkin face, later also you can apply the colours.
Let your kids be more creative in adding some extra things to the craft.
Important Notes:
- Use thick cardboard as base, as the rock salt will make the craft heavier.
- Don,t pour more water colour on the rock salt or else the colour will smudge.
- This is mainly a toddler activity, so give them some creative space.
